ECG Warranty Information – One reason ECG offers a workmanship warranty provides peace of mind to consumers. It assures them that the construction or renovation work will be done with the utmost skill and care, and any defects or issues that arise due to faulty workmanship will be addressed without any additional cost to the customer.

Our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty also shows that the we are more then confident in the quality of our work and are willing to stand behind it. Building trust and a positive reputation for our clients is our goal. ECG’s Lifetime Workmanship Warranty also differentiates ECG from our competitors.

COMMERCIAL WARRANTY INFO

Excel Construction Group warrants that it is roofing installation workmanship will be free from defects and will be accomplished according to manufacturer’s installation specifications. Excel Construction Group’s roofing installation warranty extends to the original property owner that purchased the improvements and to the first party that thereafter acquires, directly from such original property owner, to the property where such improvements were completed. This warranty is NOT transferable beyond first party that acquires home directly from the original property owner. The warranty coverage is in effect for as long as such property owner owns and occupies the home where the improvements were completed. With respect to the first party that acquires fee title to such home directly from the original property owner, the warranty coverage is in effect for a period of 10 years from completion of the roof installation.

In the event of a valid warranty, Excel Construction Group will furnish labor to repair any defective workmanship. Excel Construction Group will also supply replacement materials when necessary to make such repairs. Excel Construction Group reserves the right to substitute materials that it believes are of equal value if materials identical to those originally installed are no longer readily available to when such repairs were performed. All replacement work and materials will be provided solely by Excel Construction Group. The property owner may not contract with another company/entity to provide such labor or materials. Repairs undertaken by the property owner or third parties without the written approval of Excel Construction Group will VOID this warranty. Annual inspections MUST be performed by a certified Excel Construction Group Specialist. Failure to schedule annual inspections will VOID this warranty. Property owner must contact Excel Construction Group to schedule said inspection. Any modifications to the existing roof must be inspected and approved by Excel Construction Group. (I.E. satellites, solar panels, Christmas lights, etc.)

This warranty does not cover damage related to acts of God, weather conditions such as hail storm damage, fire, flood, earthquake, moisture, water, humidity retention or accumulation, mildew, mold, foundation settlement or deterioration of the building structure, improper care, adverse effects of pollution, normal surface wear, accidental or intentional damage, manufacturing defects, or any cause beyond Excel Construction Group’s control. In addition, this warranty does not cover routine maintenance. (I.E. caulking, sealing, and cleaning)

Excel Construction Group will not be liable in any event for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages of any kind, including damage to the interior or exterior of any residence whether for breach of this warranty, negligence, strict liability in tort, or for any other cause. The total liability of Excel Construction Group for claims under this warranty shall be limited to, and in no event, shall exceed, in the aggregate, the total installed cost of property improvement products originally installed by Excel Construction Group.

This warranty does not replace any warranties made by the manufacturer of the materials installed by Excel Construction Group, and any claims relating to defective materials should be made directly to the manufacturer of such materials as stated in its written warranty.

RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY INFO
